What’s Mexico Digital Nomad Visa?
Mexico doesn’t have a specific Digital Nomad visa. Instead, Mexico offers digital nomads a temporary residence visa, which is valid for one year and can be extended for up to four years.
This visa is similar to a Digital Nomad visa and primarily targets those who work for a company outside Mexico. Holders of this visa are not allowed to work for a local company in Mexico.

To be eligible for Mexico digital nomad visa there a few importing eligibility criteria, check if you are eligible:
Have/buy a property in Mexico valued at least $457,500 USD.
Have monthly income of 3,275 USD , if you bring your family with you for each person an additional income of 861 USD is required
A Bank balance of 54k USD ( some sources mention 43k USD) for last 12 months
Mexico Digital Nomad Visa Requirements
You need the following documents to apply for Mexico digital nomad visa:
Passport: valid at least for 6 months with minimum 2 blanket pages.
Visa Application form: a completed visa application form, this application form can be found on Mexican embassy website in English and Spanish.
Proof of Income: you need to prove you have monthly 3,275 USD income, you can prove it by Bank records and payment slips.
A passport sized photo taken within last 6 months
Police clearance certificate: you must submit an criminal record with no criminal history.
Health insurance: a complete health insurance to protect you again all possible risks during your entire stay in Mexico.
Visa fee: you have to the visa fee and submit the visa fee payment receipt.
